Founded by Franny Armstrong, director of the climate change film The Age of Stupid, 10:10 is a global campaign to reduce carbon emissions by 10% a year starting in 2010. Any individual, family, business, school or organization can participate. Started in the UK on September 1st, 2009, the campaign has now spread to many countries including China, Australia, U.S., Norway, Ireland, France, Ghana and Portugal. Every effort counts when it comes to climate change; this simple but effective campaign hopes to illustrate that positive momentum can be sustained when many people and organizations are united behind a simple pledge.
