Langham Place Hotel, Hong Kong’s newest restaurant, bar and lounge Alibi-Wine Dine Be Social has opened, offering shared plates, fine wines and reinvented classic cocktails.  The 5,500 sq.ft. Alibi offers a earthy and casual atmosphere with contemporary furnishings.
 
Alibi’s all day menu includes seasonal amuse-bouches, cheeses, and more, with each dish using homemade ingredients.  Highlights include Chef Tim Bruges’ Toastie Sandwich which comes in a kimchi version along with Bruschetta, Lardo di Colonnata topped with rucola, honey, thyme and truffle, served on a beech wood log.  An Asian variation on chocolate fondant can be found in the Steamed Chocolate Cake wrapped in lotus leaf, drizzeled with mocha caramel, served in a miniature traditional Chinese dim sum basket.
