Unless you are spending a warm Christmas in the southern hemisphere, then Christmas will be a chilly time for many of us. If you do not want to be running around out in the cold this festive season, you can still do some ‘window-shopping’ from the comfort of your sofa. What better way to save time and reduce your carbon footprint than to shop online and have gifts delivered to you or your loved ones  whether they're down the street or on the other side of the world.

Feel good about supporting small entrepreneurs and artisans, while finding the perfect unique present. Just be warned, people have gotten lost on Etsy for hours… there's just so much cool stuff!

5. Inspired-Collection
A new shopping platform of inspired lifestyle products that are produced as ethically as possible – organic, sustainable, fairly traded and giving back to communities, does it as their principle. Inspired is trying to keep their environmental footprint to a minimum level, so for example, they don't use plastic in their packaging, recycle all their waste, and work closely with local NGO – Society for Community Organisation (SoCO). Ten oer cent of their profit goes directly to this quietly active NGO to help underprivileged communities in Hong Kong. So gifting with them means everyone wins.
