For a taste of authentic Rajasthani culinary delights, experience Jashan’s brand new vegetarian Rajasthani menu during the month of March.  Conveniently located in the heart of Central, Jashan has a cozy atmosphere with warm colours and colonial furnishings.  Chef Anil Dutt Chamoli has created a selection of Thali dishes from the north-western region of region, also known as the Land of the Great Kings.  A great start to the meal is the hearty Paneer Ke Sooley, traditional cottage cheese  marinated with spiced yoghurt and smoked with cardamon.  Excellent for pairing fresh garlic naan with is Dhungar Paneer, smoked cottage cheese cooked with plum tomatoes and cream.  A creamy and smooth Palak Chilli ki subzi follows, which is simple and fresh spinach with corn and pine nuts.  The Dal Bati Churma is a great dessert that combines sweetness and saltiness using Dal and Baati, a hard wheat roll and sprinkling a mix of ground peanuts and sweet cereal on top.
