Eco baby shop
Family friendly store in Central, Hong Kong

This is music to new moms!  Located on Duddell Street is Hong Kong's first eco baby shop designed for new moms to feed and socialize with their babies.

Liquid Interiors worked with Australian pilot Mom, Caroline Williams in creating a unique one stop eco-baby shop. Hong Kong is one of the most unfriendly places for mothers with very few public facilities for baby changing and virtually no space for breast feeding.
Tiny Footprints encourages this with features such as a play and reading area in addition to providing a comfortable environment for moms to breast feed with friends. The changing room also acts as a relaxing quiet space for moms seeking a private area for feeding with a special area for diaper changing.
The eco design encourages healthy environments by using low VOC materials, paint and adhesives. Energy saving elements include LED lights and air conditioning zoning controls. During construction, waste was recycled or reused.
This shop is definitely a first step towards making Hong Kong a baby and mom-friendly city!
