The biennial summit provides a platform to tackle continuous urbanisation

In our increasingly urbanized world, our cities are getting more and more packed, challenging our quality of life. The biennial World Cities Summit provides a platform for government officials and top experts to discuss these urban issues. Through the various forums organised during the Summit, leaders and experts will be able to exchange ideas and solution on how to better create sustainable cities.
This year, the World Cities Summit will be held 10 – 14 July, in Sands Expo & Convention Centre at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The summit is jointly organised by Singapore’s Centre for Liveable Cities and Urban Redevelopment Authority.
Highlights of the summit are the Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize, which recognizes outstanding international initiatives for city excellence, and the World Cities Summit Mayors Forum, an event for city leaders to discuss pressing urban issues and share best practices with one another.
Other events include the Word Cities Summit Young Leader Symposium, Plenary Sessions and Thematic Tracks, Business Forums, and Site visits, which will provide attendees with more insights and practical and concrete ideas to tackle their own urban issues.
Mayors and ministers from all over the world are scheduled to attend.
It is important to address these issues to insure that people have the ability to live comfortably, have the necessary resources, as well as set up sustainable methods to address continuous urbanisation. As a proud media partner, Ecozine will be there and we hope to see you to! Register now!
