Join us for a night of fun as we kickoff World Environment Week

On June 3rd, we will be launching World Environment Week with a press conference and kickoff party! World Environment Week marks the start of team sign-ups for the 2013 Hong Kong Cleanup season, the launch of Dopper in Hong Kong, and a celebration of this beautiful Earth we call home.

Sponsored by Nomura, DopperBoujis and Thomas Palmer Fine German Wines, and co-presented by our friends at Ecovision Asia and the Hong Kong Cleanup, this will be a fun and friendly evening of networking, cocktails and music. Come on down and join the celebration, meet like-minded people and have a cocktail, on us - and remember to bring your business card to enter the lucky draw!

About the event

Lisa Christensen and Nissa Marion, co-founders of the Hong Kong Cleanup, will kick off the 2013 Hong Kong Cleanup Challenge team signups to the media, along with an exciting announcement about the Hong Kong Cleanup, joined by Merijn Everaarts, founder of Dopper, and the Hong Kong Cleanup Celebrity Ambassadors.

Following the press conference, at 6pm, we’re inviting YOU – our friends, supporters and community members – to join us for happy hours drinks and fun, with great music and plenty of networking, fun and prizes! With the generous support of our venue sponsor, Boujis Hong Kong, there will be a complimentary World Environment Week cocktail for each guest, and happy hour prices throughout the evening. Thomas Palmer Fine Germany Wines has also sponsored wine to be served at the event. There’s also a live music performance by renowned drummer Oz Walker that will knock your socks off!

Aside from having a rocking good time, the objective of World Environment Week 2013 is twofold:

  • To raise awareness and engage the community of environmental issues, particularly the urgent issue of waste and the ways we can all help resolve it through rethinking, reducing, reusing and recycling; and,
  • To celebrate World Environment Day, a day for people from all walks of life to come together to ensure a cleaner, greener and brighter outlook for themselves and future generations!

RSVPs are not required for the kickoff party, so make sure to mark your calendar and join us on June 3rd to celebrate the start of World Environment Week!

Don’t miss it!
